From May 2-6 2022, it is Teacher Appreciation Week. During this week I thank all educators that are directly involved with class-room instruction, on-line, in-person learning and all who support student learning. As educators and the field of education will recognize that there is much more to the art of teaching than the delivery of the learning material. For this week I also include the recent meeting of Florida’s Senator Marco Rubio with Florida’s Teacher of the year Sarah Painter and an educator from Eisenhower Elementary School. I appreciated that our Senator Rubio (R-FL) took the time to appreciate teachers, listen and converse with concerns that surround the work of educators. Congratulations and Thank You! All the best for Teacher Appreciation Week and Day!
