Each year I try to contribute to the Mardi Gras festivities and celebrations. Whilst the day of Mardi Gras is the day before Ash Wednesday, the celebrations and festivities can begin two (2) weeks prior to the day of. For this time I baked the traditional Mardi Gras Kings Cake / bread. Thank you to @KPRC2 for tweeting a news media story which also contained the link to the recipe. I loved this easy recipe, although cake / bread-making is a skill that develops with experience, to learn the tips and tricks. However, I think that my first attempt at Mardi Gras Kings Cake is a beautiful and delicious creation. Welcome and please enjoy with me!!
