My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, Phoenix Police, colleagues, the neighbourhood and all who are affected with the Phoenix Police ambush that took place on the 11th of February 2022. The incident occurred near 51st Avenue and Broadway, where 9 officers were reported as hurt and 1 woman who passed away. Within this incident there was a baby that was left outside the home, and is safe in the hands of the police. Of the incident Pheonix Mayor Kate Gallego has said that she cannot recall where so many officers were injured from a single incident in the city’s history. The incident it a stark reminder of the realities of domestic violence, the mental health impacts that ultimately leads to the overt incidents. I am grateful to hear that the baby / infant was not harmed, and most likely belonged to the couple involved. As this is an evolving situation the deaths number may not be accurately reported. At this time our thoughts remain with the Phoenix community, and to all who were affected.
