As I shared our Christmas meal via Instagram publicly, I wanted to embrace and relish this moment. I believe that the sharing of food especially upon this blessed occasion of Christmas is very personal, and one must be appreciative and respectful of this sacred act of sharing food. I wanted to relish the flavors that truly did make cooking our first Christmas Turkey very special. I am profoundly grateful to be able to share the joy of our meal with you. Christmas is a time of coming together with family, friends, and loved ones. But I do know too well the feeling of those who have grieved, the memories of severed relations, the homeless, poor, the sick, elderly, and the orphans. For many Christmas is not picture perfect, but it is also important to remember to be grateful in every circumstance, even to keep trying as one becomes vulnerable and fragile. Life is ever-changing. As many too will experience the first joys of Christmas, even within the imperfections, there is a feeling that desires to be cherished, nourished and embraced. And this is also the beauty of God, the acceptance of as you are. With heartfelt love and thank you Christmas 2021!!!
