HURRICANE IDA.

My thoughts of love, prayer, condolences and support to everyone who has and is being affected with Hurricane IDA. Ida made landfall on August 29th near Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The hurricane was later down-graded to a tropical storm, thus the destruction upon its path continued. On the evening of September 1st 2021 the state of New York declared a state of emergency as remnants of Ida found its way to the state. The devastation and destruction caused damage to infrastructure, habitats and much more, including the loss of precious lives. At this time my heartfelt sympathy to all who have been affected directly and indirectly, I feel the shivers, cold breezes and know that you are dealing with much more. I would like to say thank you to the city of New York and especially Governor Kathy Hochul for her immediate responses as being the new 57th Governor of New York City and State, and all first responder teams. Whilst I am aware that a city as New York might not enforce hurricane preparedness regularly, I know that the city is strong and will pull together through this. To the injured may you recover and to those who have lost their lives, may you rest in peace. Thank you for your service.
