As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ – The Messiah, the soul and spirit of the season, I share the little things that bring smiles to indicate the season.
When our children were in the younger elementary and junior grades I was very much involved in most school activities and celebrations. The following image is of the gift bags, similar to the ones that our kids used to hand to fellow students and teachers during their younger years. This year I also did the same, which brought back the fond memories of parenting through the younger years!
Cookies of Instagram!
I have been sharing posts on instagram about my Christmas baking attempts, as well as the history of the American Christmas Cookie. I thought my instagram thoughts were worth posting on my blog, as they reveal the micro attempts human beings can make to align with macro goals of a nation. National and International.
HHHHMmmmmmm! 😋 Please can we eat and share my Christmas Cookies??.. 💃🏻💋💎😊❤️🎄💫
The Christmas baking tradition has roots that stem from all over the world, where there are regions that preferred styles, spices and cookie recipe. More specific to the USA; the Christmas Cookie was brought to the United States through the Dutch in the 17th century. As the Christmas bakers in the USA we can wonder how this tradition can link America with Europe, European nations, to strengthen, maintain alliances and diplomacy. ⭐️ #shaziblog#linkinbio #christmascookies#christmasbaking #socialinnovation#creativity #loveandpeace #europe#usa🇺🇸 #europeanunion🇪🇺#diplomacythrougheducation#diplomacymatters #lovelovelove💕#yummy😋😋 #lemonsquares#sugarcookies
