I would like to express my thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to friends, family, loved ones, the Houston Police Department (HPD) and the Harris County Sheriff’s (HCSO) for the loss of 20 year veteran Texas Deputy Investigator John Hampton Coddou. Deputy Coddou passed away on April 23rd 2024 and he was 50 years young. He was trying to help a driver during a roadside collision, when tragedy struck and a truck hit him. Mr. Coddou was taken to emergency via, a helicopter to a Houston Hospital but did not survive. At this time I share my sympathies to his close family, loved ones and colleagues. I thank the HPD and HCSO Texas for all your efforts to support all who love and care for the profound life service of Deputy John H. Coddou. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
May Deputy John Hampton Coddou rest with eternal life in the eternal kingdom of Heaven, amen. God Bless You and God Bless America, amen.
