I would like to join the International / Global community to share my thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, loved ones, and all who mourn the loss of life, from the tragedy of the 6.8 Earthquake that struck Morocco on Friday night, the 8th of September 2023. I was deeply saddened to learn of the death toll that has risen from 820 to 1037 and continues to rise. With many more lives that have been destroyed and injured. Along with historical architectures, landmarks, homes and livelihoods. Morocco is a country located in West North Africa, directly upon the Strait of Gibraltar that connects Africa with Spain. Where Spain also felt the tremors from the Earthquake. I reiterate my sympathy to everyone affected and thank World Leaders who have taken the time to remember Morocco during the G20 Summit that is being held in India this year.
To the victims of the Morocco Earthquake: May you rest with eternal life and peace in the kingdom of Heaven, amen.
