08.27.2023. My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives the U.S. Marine Corps and all who are affected with tragic incident of the Marine Corps MRF-D MV-22B Osprey aircraft crash near Darwin, Australia. The aircraft was carrying 23 service members on Sunday August 27th, 2023 and crashed. From this incident three (3) U.S. Marines have been killed and five (5) U.S. Marines were taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital in Australia.
I would like to send my sympathy and support to the U.S. Marines that are directly affected and all who are based in Australia. This is the second tragic incident in the span of 3-4 days that has affected the U.S. Marines, as well as upon the 2 year anniversary of the Kabul Terrorist Attacks of Afghanistan.
At this time details of the deceased Marines is not known. I continue to reiterate and thank you for your service, sacrifices and passion to serve for the United States Marines.
May you rest in peace in with Eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven, amen.

Update: 08.29.2023 – On the 28th of August 2023 the Marine Rotational Force, North Territory, Australia, provided the names and pictures of the U.S. Marines that were killed in the MRF-D MV-22B Osprey aircraft crash as follows:

Cpl. Spencer R. Collart, 21, of Arlington, Virginia, MV-22B Osprey crew chief.

Capt. Eleanor V. LeBeau, 29, of Belleville, Illinois, MV-22B Osprey pilot.

Maj. Tobin J. Lewis, 37, of Jefferson, Colorado, Executive Officer of VMM-363.
