I took the time to further reflect upon the ripple effects that are affecting many regions of the World from the Russia-Ukraine war. Where it feels like nations are becoming torn between slogans such as I stand with Israel or I stand with Palestine. I felt disheartened that even as nations have tried to create immense peace efforts, divisions are hurting innocent civilians. The irony is that normally people migrate, seek asylum to feel safe and find opportunity to survive, but are met with the same-kind of challenges. And we also see how these divides are also formulating social attitudes at the level of the microcosm.
