Upon the 12th of June 2023 it is the 7 year memorial anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting that took place in 2016, Orlando, Florida, USA. For a moment I decided to take my memory back-in-time as I remember the serene, quiet, gentle feeling of innocence and curiosity, and then on June 12th 2016 I learned of the horrific mass-shooting of the 49 innocent lives that were tragically lost. The victims were mostly described as Hispanic / Latino/a/x.
The Pulse memorials are significant to keep the memory of the tragedy and victims alive. I remain grateful to the living loved ones, who have suffered much grief from the Pulse Massacre.
It is also upon this day in my view that it is important to keep positive inclusive spaces open for diverse conversations such as: heterosexual relations, pro-life and protections of the unborn, as well as sensitive to the delicacy surrounded upon the Pulse Memorial conversation.
Thank You for enshrining this memory, especially for those who crave the love of sisters and brothers.
