I would like to express my thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, and all who are affected with the Mexico shooting in Baja California, Estado Libre y Soberano de Baja California. From this shooting there was the tragic loss of 10 individuals and 9 injured. Baja California is located on the border of the State of Arizona and the Gulf of Mexico. At this difficult time my sympathy to everyone affected including those who have relatives in America, Canada and Mexico.
Recent tragedy also struck in San-Salvador at a soccer stadium where 12 lives were tragically taken with dozens injured. Alianza FC and Club Deportivo FAS was playing with Cuscatlan stadium in San Salvador.
During the time of the Mexico City and El Salvador tragic incidents, I am reminded of the Organization of the American States (OAS) and the responsibility that America carries to adhere to the agreements within the OAS as specified with Article 1 as follows: “an order of peace and justice, to promote their solidarity, to strengthen their collaboration, and to defend their sovereignty, their territorial integrity, and their independence.” And we must be mindful that Article 1 does not just apply to Mexico or San-Salvador but to the 35 individuals states as mentioned in the OAS.
As I wish for peace of the various populations to also take note of Hispanic / Latino who are targets of both incidents mentioned in the blog post.
