My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives all who mourn loss, and are affected with the devastating Afghanistan earthquake that took place on Wednesday 22nd June 2022. The earthquake took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) along the borders of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Over 1000 individuals were killed that left many more wounded and injured. The magnitude of the earthquake is being reported as 5.9 and 6.1 according to the news media sources. The earthquake has devastated the populations that are already suffering from the severity of poverty and hunger. These effects are an intersection of international aid organizations that left Afghanistan when the Taliban seized power in August 2021. My sympathies to all who are affected during this difficult time, as we call for Global / International humanitarianism.
