On this day of remembrance and commemorations for the Holocaust Memorial I would like to share the above quote from Anne Frank. Anne Frank was a German-Dutch Jewish, who was a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust. Her life was lived for 15 years. Her fame was gained after she passed away with the publication of her diary. Her quotes and words serve to inspire and remind us of the power or words, especially through the craft of writing in various forms. I take the time to remember this historical genocide, and once again reiterate my concern for the silent genocides that are taking place across the Globe, that have especially become even more silent from the Coronavirus health pandemic. The pandemics thick layer upon humanitarian and refugee crisis’ have suffocated individuals and populations.
