The other day I began to once again question the human-made construct of love. What is needed to fulfill the human desire for love. But as I questioned, and even as I write, I realized that: when we begin to peel away the human constructions of what is desirable for the quality of love; I have concluded that the difference between what we consider the social constructions of love, socio-political constructions, or any other constructive forms is that love is natural. Love is a form of nature – love is our human nature. Love is fundamental and instrumental to our very existence. Without love could any human being survive? The question can be a yes and no answer. And the truth is that we live in a world where relations are going to be imperfect. And I also think that it is within the imperfections that humans begin to suffer. It is with this suffering we again form more constructs to help us cope.

Now I am not saying that there is no points to systems and organization, such as: health care, support groups and so on, because the need is there. As there are many cases where humans have no one else to turn to, but systems and organizations. But we can also relate these ideas to my previous thoughts, such as the differences between intimate love, and the love associated with organizations, systems and services. Because even the service workers who fill the needs of others and serve feel the desire to know that they are loved. This love can be found through the love of intimacy derived from personal relations, the service workers themselves, turning to systems and organizations for fulfillment, or through various rewards and appreciation incentives programs.
LOVE IS THE ROOT,
AND SERVICE IS ONLY THE BRANCH OF LOVE.”

Either way for now: I have come to the realization that love is a natural force. Love is integral to our human nature. Love is more than a social construction. Love is who we are. It is our human nature. It is our survival.
