FARM WORKERS BUS CRASH – FLORIDA

I was deeply saddened to learn of the eight (8) individuals who passed away on Tuesday May 14th, 2024. The individuals were from Mexico with H-2A visas for agricultural workers. They were travelling to Cannon Farms in Orlando, Florida for farm work. The civilian life loss is also reflective and questions the heart of – What is the American Dream? What is the opportunity of America? How are dreams shattered for those who cross the U.S. Mexico border legally? While it is known that the driver of the bus was apparently drunk, I also wonder why was he driving while drunk?

I continue to encourage U.S. local, State and National leadership to maintain good relations with Mexico and the U.S. Southern Border, as well as the opportunity to analyze the effects upon local agricultural and farming industry from such a tragedy.

My thoughts of love, prayer, condolences and sympathy to everyone affected. Thank you for your service and sacrifices. May you rest in peace with eternal life in the eternal kingdom of Heaven, amen. God Bless You and God Bless America, amen.
