My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to friends, family, loved ones and all who are affected with the terrible tragedy from the recent killing of Laken Hope Riley. Miss Riley was a University of Georgia student who was found dead on February 26th 2024. My heartfelt sympathy to all who mourn and grieve this loss of life. May you rest in peace with eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven, amen.
While I think it is important for law enforcement to claim accountability of the suspected killer, I am mindful that this incident and tragedy does not turn into another way to create hate and target the vulnerable populations, migrants, asylum seekers, refugees from South America including from Venezuela.
