Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day is commemorated on the last Sunday of September, that is upon September 24th of the year 2023. I would like to take a moment to reflect upon this day. To thank all for services and sacrifices for the United States of America on Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day.
This observance recognizes Mother’s who have lost sons or daughters who served for the Armed Services. I reflected upon the sacrifices of human life. I think that elements of resentments can surface or the questions of why can be created within the human forms. However, it is the elements of thankfulness, feeling grateful for what we have, and to know that in life everything happens for a reason, or the will of God, is truly how we try to keep moving forward in life.
Gold Star Mother’s Day was first established by congress in 1936 during the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidency. This legislation was amended in 2011 from the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama Hussein to include Family’s Day.
It is my honor, privilege and with great reverence to recognize Gold Star Mother’s and Family Day. May God Bless You and God Bless America.
