My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to family, friends, relatives, loved ones and all who are affected with the Fort Worth, Texas shooting on July 4th 2023. This incident took place on the July 4th America’s Independence Day celebrations. There are 3 victims and 8 individuals who are injured. The shooting took place just around the time of midnight, at a ComoFest that was held for the local Fort Worth neighbourhood.
I pray for the families of the loved ones, as I wish for your strength and healing as the injured recover. I pray for the victims, may you rest in peace in the eternal kingdom of Heaven, amen.
The occurrence and timing of this incident reminded me of my first visit to Texas, where I attended the Houston Dash football / soccer match, as it was also late night. But I felt safe because there was lots of street lighting, emergency services and fans just wanting to support the local Houston team. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
