My thoughts of love, prayer and condolences to friends, family, loved ones and all who are affected with the shooting that took place on the 29th of April, 2024 in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, North Carolina. From this incident a total of 8 Police Officers were shot, 3 were shot in the line of duty, and 1 more police officer passed away from the injuries sustained from gunshot wounds. The tragic incident occurred when Police Officers were serving a warrant for the search of a home.
My thoughts remain with everyone that is affected. I continue to reflect upon the balance of personal safety, the safety of a community, as well as the power imbalances of Police Officers, utilizing situations to abuse the power of the uniform.
It is with the above reflective thoughts it is tragic to hear of such life-loss. I look forward to the recovery of the injured Police Officers. I thank you for your service and sacrifices and pray that the Police Officers who passed away will rest in peace, with eternal life in the eternal kingdom of Heaven, amen. May God Bless You and God Bless America, amen.
